Hello world of the CLC

Our good friend and presd. of the CLC France , Pierre Gravel , in co -operation whit Genévieve Keyaerts and the board members did there verry best to create a wonderfull event for you “ a la Cadillac“
We also could count on the experience of Sigrid Hofmann who organized the 2008 GE

Back in the 90’s , during one of the meetings @ the Keyaerts Cadillac museum i played whit the idea of a big event in this area.
Back then there was no CLC aff. in France , what took me more then 5 years to find the right man on the right place ( P Gravel )

Thanks to Genévieve we have Pierre Gravel and the CLC aff. in France , and the GE ! who makes a stop @ the Keyaerts museum.
A truckload champagne is already ordered , we are awaiting for your arrival to open the bottles under a bright sun in a blue sky ……in the garden of a historic castle on the Loire river.

Practical : beginning of 2010 you will receive the participation form whit prices and bank info.
Included is the hotel info page , who will be active from next week on
I have 20 high resolution pict’s for you from Richelieu surroundings, and the host hotel for the 2010 GE , please EMAIL me if you want hem sended to you.
There is a limit of 100 participating cars for this GE . (parking space )

NOTE : because of interferrence whit the Grand National in Australia , every two years in the same year as the Grand European , we will skip the 2012 GE edition.
Participants from the US have to make two big trips ( vacation time and expenses ) in one year ( Australia and Europe ) , to find out nothing happens the year between.
Thus , the GE after the 2010 in France will be in 2013.

We are already working on the 2013 GE .

Síðasti rúntur sumarsins

Landsmót Cadillac Klúbbsins 2009

Landsmót Cadillac Klúbbsins  fór fram sunnudaginn 26 Ágúst . Við mættum með bílana um Kl. 12.00 hjá OLÍS á Norðlingaholti þar sem boðið var upp á kaffi og vínabrauð auk þess að við feingum 12 Kr. Afslátt í tilefni dagsins á bensín lítranum og það munar um minna núna .

Hátt í tuttugu bílar mættu og nokkrir nýjir félagar bættust við, um Kl 14.00 fórum við af stað austur í Þrastarlund og voru það flest allir sem óku austur, þar biðu okkar 6 félagar og var tekið þarna kaffihlaðborð og því gerð góð skil ásamt þvi að skoða ökutækin hvor hjá öðrum. kl 17.00 var heyrt að Valhöll þar sem mótið átti upphaflega að vera þetta var smá minningarathöfn. Það rigndi lítilháttar á okkur en létti til þegar við komum austur fyrir fjall. Ég þakka öllum fyrir þátttökuna og vonast til að sjá sem flesta aftur að ári, jafnvel fyrr þar sem við stefnum á eina kvöldkeyrslu nú í Agúst.
